Background

This blog is an expression of me and my reaction to stuff I have lived through and things I see. The background behind the thoughts and opinions in this blog are from my very expensive education, my conservative upbringing and simple lifestyle that has been effected by the culture in ways I don’t even know. I believe that my generation is post-modern in that it reacts to modernity in a way that represents a careful and thought provoked group of young people eager for change in the midst of thoughtless scripts. We don’t like to be told what to do so we are looked down upon. A few of us realize that Christ meant something great for us by redeeming us, and we’re eager to be used to impact the world and cast a vision of service to our Father. There are more of us than people think, and I believe we’re on the cusp or like one of my favorite professors says, “We’re on the verge” of changing the course of history. More background into my insights is what I believe are my core values: Quality experiences and authentic relationships are very important to me. I tend to choose the memorable, ambient and aesthetic over the simple and comfortable. I think that makes me a romantic. There’s more, but I’ll leave that to your imagination.
